TPS737: TPS73733DCQ for Medical equipment

Hi,

 

The customer is thinking to use TPS73733DCQ for medical equipment, Cataract surgery device. Cataract surgery device is "Class-III Medical equipment" by Global Harmonization Task Force (GHTF). Is there any concern to use TPS73733 for this kind of Class-III medical equipment? Or is there any special condition to use it under medical?

    Hi Takashi,

    Can you give us some ideas of what the customer needs to understand to design this component for a class III medical device?
    If you have specific requirements in mind, or would like to know if the component meets a certain requirement, we can look into those questions for you.

    Hi Stephen,

    I communicated with our regal team. According to regal team, it is not good idea to promote our device to Class-III medical equipment. It should be needed some contract or customer's approval. So it means this E2E has closed, resolved. Thanks and apologize for delay reply.
