LM74700-Q1: LM74700 for high current application(260A output)

Hi, Team,

Can the LM74700 meet the spec as followed? Do we have some reference sch for this application? Thanks!

The spec as followed:

    The Vinmax is 16V, Ioutmax is 260A.

    They want to use 3pcs INFINEON’s AUIRFSA8409-7P in parallel.

    Turn-off time <1ms. And Turn-off time <10us.

    Gate charge (Qgs+Qgd) is 180nC for AUIRFSA8409-7P

    With 3 in parallel, combined gate charge is 540nC.

    T_on = (Q_combined / I_on), give turn on time = 540nC / 11mA.= 49us.

    T_off = (Q_combined / I_off), give turn off time = 540nC / 2.37A = 227ns.

    VCAP is recommended to be > 20x Ciss, = 20 * 3 * 14nF = 840nF.

    Typical application circuit is given in datasheet Figure 20 for a 12 V battery application.
