LM73606: input and output ripple voltage

Hello,

My customer would like to know the ripple voltage of LM73606EVM.

[Condition]

1) Input voltage 12V, Output voltage 3.3V output current 6A

2) Input voltage 5V, Output voltage 3.3V output current 6A

We would like to know input ripple voltage and output voltage of LM73606EVM. We see the bigger ripple noise on our board. We would like to know what ripple voltage is proper number.

Hi Watanabe-san,

Below is a capture from the datasheet of figure 73 for for one of your request. A 5V input would increase the duty cycle therefore should have ripple. Figure 74 shows input voltage at near full duty cycle so that should give you an understanding.

Can you show me how the capture you have on ripple noise and how you are obtaining it? The specification is usually what dictates what is proper voltage ripple.
