LM43603: Input voltage slew rate

Part Number: LM43603

Hi,

we are using the LM43603 chip.

The chip work according to the calculations, but there is a strange behaviour around Ven,when the slew rate is very low or the input voltage is 500 -300mV before Ven.

500mv below Ven (very low slew rate or stop the input voltage at this range), the output voltage start (power good signal is High), after that the output voltage stop (power good is zero) and this oscillations continue until the input voltage exeed Ven.

Attache is the output voltage wave form in this situation.

Best regards,

Iliyan

  • Ilian,

The minimum input voltage is 3.8V so the part should be tested with at least 3.8V. If I understand correctly, you're testing with VEN slowly ramping up to 2.2V (VEN threshold) with VIN = 1.7V (500mV below VEN). Is this correct? If so, please ensure VIN is at least 3.8V for proper operation.
