LM7705: Does the output voltage of the LM7705 VOUT change depending on the output current?

Part Number: LM7705

When there is no load, a negative voltage is output after a positive voltage is output.
When a load (-7mA) was attached to the output, the positive voltage was not output and became a negative voltage.

Does the output voltage of the LM7705 VOUT change depending on the output current?
Please let me know if there is a boundary of the output current.

  • Hi Katsuragawa-san,

the output voltage has tight limits as indicated in the Electrical Characteristics table ( Section 6.5 and 6.6 on page 4 and 5 respectively). The output voltage should be approximately - 0.23-V (see the specific limits in the table referenced before).

Can you give me details on your Vin and connected capacitances?

Also, can you provide your measurement graphs for the positive voltage and the transition from positive voltage to negative voltage? At which ambient temperature is the device operating?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Britta
