High Voltage High Frequency Switching Gate Drive Circuit For Low Power Application

Hi, I am looking to use  a high voltage MOSFET (e.g.IXTF02N450) and I had the following questions:

1 .Which TI isolated gate driver is suitable.. The load is capacitive(order of 10pF)  and load current is 7-15 mA,

2. Switching Frequency is of 10Khz ..

    We have a quick search that can help narrow down your search.

    You first need to decide if you need Basic or Reinforced Isolation.

    I will brief you about my work, I am using 2 series mosfets (IXTF02N450)

    my output voltage is of 8500V, f=10Khz  and load current is 10mA(max) and the load is capacitive..

    How about using ISO5451

    Hello Anandu,

    Is 8500V your working voltage? The isolation withstand voltage, VISO, of our reinforced drivers is 5700 Vrms or 8061 Vpk. To increase isolation for your application, you could pair a digital isolator along with a reinforced or basic isolated driver to increase the isolation level to your specification. Please visit the digital isolators website and search their products. You could start by looking into ISO7821FDWW to see if it fits your requirements.  

    The ISO5451 may have higher output current than you require, and has integrated short circuit protection and fault feedback. If you want these integrated features, then ISO5451 (Basic) or ISO5851 (Reinforced) are good options. For a smaller package and simpler driver, I'd recommend the UCC5310MCD (Basic) or UCC5310MCDW (Reinforced) with +2.4A/-1.1A drive strength and integrated miller clamp.
