I have a follow-up question to the earlier post about the PMID output current. I understand that the PMID current is limited to 500mA if the BQ25150 is connected to USB, and limited to 1.5A if the BQ25150 is connected to a battery (without USB). Is there any reason why I can't have the PMID source more than 500mA current from a battery? Will it damage the BQ25150 in any way? The wording of "recommended" and "absolute" is confusing here.
