BQ28Z610: Cells with higher Capacity

Hi,

due to the tech reference manual the highest capacity for the bq28z610 is stated with 32Ah. Is there a possibility to use it with cells with higher capacity like 44Ah?

    Hello Markus,

    I would recommend not using anything greater than 32 Ah from DS.

    You can try to calibrate the device using 2000 mA and call it 1000 mA and scale the capacity by 2, but we have not had any long term studies on this and suggest if you do this, you try to run multiple cycles to see if the accuracy degrades.
