BQ25100H: What happens if Riset value is between 450Ω and 540Ω?

Hello,

According to BQ25100H datasheet, recommended Riset value is from 540Ω to 13.5kΩ. and maximum fault resistor value is 450Ω.

What happens if customer connects 460Ω ~ 530Ω resistor to Riset?

Iout is over 250mA? or higher Iout ?

Hi Nicky

This will increase fast charge current beyond 250mA. We do recommend operating at 250mA max. The absolute max is 300mA. Also ISET short protection could become active, fault condition.
