Dear Sir,
I wanted to implement CV-CC battery charging with UC1825 for synchronous buck configuration with separate inverting driver for bottom MOSFET.
Is there any limitation to go ahead in this configuration?
Thank and Regards,
Nesh

Hey Nesh,
What specific concerns do you have?
The UC1825 doesn't implement CV-CC internally and thus a lot of the control scheme would have to be done externally.
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi Sir,
Thank you for the reply.
Could you please suggest any PWM controller IC for Synchronous Buck configuration which can be used for 1KW application or higher.
Thanks,
Nesh
Hey Nesh,
1 kW is a lot, which topology do you plan on using?
Also to confirm, do you require a space grade component?
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi Sir,
This is industrial application, non-isolated topology. buck multistage or single stage with analog control only.
thanks,
Nesh
Hey Nesh,
TI has a special section for multistage bucks that I would have you look at:
If you have any questions on these please resubmit an E2E question with one of the part numbers.
The old devices with UC on the front are very old and TI has much newer and easier products to use for commercial applications.
Thanks,
Daniel
