TPS791-Q1: Ripple Rejection of TPS79101DBVRQ1

Part Number: TPS791-Q1

Hi,

In the datasheet of TPS791-Q1, the ripple rejection vs frequency charts are given for TPS79133 and TPS79118, not for TPS79101. I would like to have the graph as it is significant from my point of view.

Thank you.

Regards,

Naveen Sankaran.

  • Hi Naveen,

In general the output voltage of an LDO will not greatly change the overall PSRR performance, this is why the 1.8V and 3.3V data shown in the datasheet are fairly similar. The TPS79101 is an adjustable device which can be set to any output voltage within the allowable range and will perform the same if the output is set to the same as a fixed device (1.8V, 3.3V, or 4.7V).

In case you're curious I've attached a quick ppt on what conditions have an affect on PSRR and which don't (slide 7 shows output voltage is not a major factor).
