TPS54361-Q1: TPS54361-Q1

Part Number: TPS54361-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5576-Q1, TPS54361

Could you confirm if the TPS54361QDPRTQ1 device can withstand an 80V input transient for approx 100uS .

Thanks

Regards

Colin

  • Hi Colin:

we can't confirm TPS54361QDPRTQ1 can withstand 80V input transient voltage.  the max value is 65V in full temperature.

if you can low down the transient input to 75V, LM5576-Q1 may fit your max voltage requirement. or you may need add TVS to clamp the higher voltage.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for your feedback Daniel

Just for confirmation, the  TPS54361QDPRTQ1 can withstand a 80V 100uS voltage transient.

Nominal max input voltage of 65VDC is fine for general operation

Are you  able to provide details of the voltage withstand for the TPS54361QDPRTQ1

I assume that the LM5576-Q1 has a higher withstand voltage ?

Could you provide detail for the LM5576-Q1 withstand voltage characteristics too

Thanks fir your time with this

  • Hi Colin:

The maxim voltage of TPS54361 is depend on the process, so we don't have voltage withstand infomation as well as LM5576-Q1. cause it is not only internal mosfet need handle the VIn voltage but also the internal control circuit , driver. So the max voltage is the limition for this devices. even single device can sustain sometime over the max voltage in lab, but we don't konw when the device come to mass production what will happen.

    Thanks
