LM25066: SMBus timing

The I2C bus standard specifies a maximum rise time for SCL/SDA of 1000 ns for standard mode (100 KHz) and 300 ns for fast mode (400 KHz)

The LM25066 data sheet (section 7.6) suggests a maximum of 300 ns irrespective of operating frequency. Is this interpretation correct?

Yes, your understanding is correct.

For SMBus operating frequency from 10kHz to 400kHz, the maximum Clock or data rise time you can expect is 300ns.
