LMR36015: Selection of feedback resistor

Part Number: LMR36015

Hi,

I am FAE, a distributor of TI products.
My customer plans to create a circuit with the following specifications using the device of LMR36015A.
Currently, Fordback resistors are selected, but the following values are considered.
The resistance value is set lower than the data sheet selection requirements.
The reason is to reduce the influence of noise.
Is it possible to use the following values?

When VIN = 24V, VOUT = 1.2V
RFBB = 100kΩ, RFBT = 20kΩ
When VIN = 24V, VOUT = 3.3V
RFBB = 27kΩ, BFBT = 62kΩ
Best regards,
  • Hi,

    Yes you can do that.

    But you need to adjust the feedforward cap accordingly. The recommended cap value is : 20 pF*100kΩ/BFBT. For example, if you use "When VIN = 24V, VOUT = 1.2V, RFBB = 100kΩ, RFBT = 20kΩ", then Cff is 20 pF*100kΩ/20kΩ=100pF.
