TPS65131: could it can be cleaning by plasma water ?

Hello,

SMT foundry ask if the PCB board with TPS65131 can be washed by plasma water ? is there any some risk on ESD or material corrosion ?

    Hi Fandy,

    I am not able to find definitive answer for this one as after talking with few engineers, they don't seem to be familiar with this cleaning process. I will  try to find someone who can answer but it may take more time.

    In the meantime, I can tell you that there is nothing special about TPS65131 from other TI ICs so if customer is able to use other TI devices in their cleaning process, TPS65131 should not have any problem either.

    I will update this thread if I can find more information.

    Hi Fandy,

    For this PCB assembly process, there is nothing special about TPS65131 compared to other devices from TI or devices from other manufacturers for that matter. If this is a standard assembly process, then it should work with TPS65131 also. That is all the feedback I can provide about it since this is more of a board  assembly process question than anything specific to TPS65131.
