LP5912-Q1: AEC-Q006

I was able to find the answer. Since LP5912-Q1 was released prior to July 1st, 2016 (when AEC-006 was released) it did not undergo the tests to such duration.

Can they use the new TPS745-Q1 instead? It uses gold bond wire.

Since I am familiar with AEC-Q006, if customer is asking this, we could not promote the LP5912-Q1 to them?

Do you hear AEC-Q006 request from other customer?

I am worry that if more and more customer is asking for this, are we going to get AEC-Q006 certified?

Hey Patrick,

LP5912-Q1 is a good part but we typically qualify to the current standards at the time.

AEC-006 doesn't come up too often but I can tell you that any part we are releasing today with Cu wire will undergo extra testing. 

Does TPS745-Q1 not meet their application requirements?
