Hello,
- Is there any logical combination of D+/D- (“0” or “1”) that if are detected by BQ25890H, then it will not activate its D+/D- (they will remain at tri-state) even if VBUS is connected?
According to BC1.2 standard, in Data Contact Detect section, a Portable Device (PD) waits for D+ line to be low for 10mSec minimum, so it recognizes that the PD is connected to a remote device. The question is, if D+ is connected to 3.3V, then BQ25890H recognizes it as nothing is attached to it even if VBUS is 5V and then it will not activate its D+/D-? My problem is when there is a weak battery and the software cannot disable the Automatic Source Type Detection. - According to your knowledge, Does any of SDP, CDP or DCP devices supplies voltage larger than 0.7V on D+/D- lines?
Best Regards,
Ramin
