How can I create a golden image in bq40z80 ? Importing file in Data memory is enough to create a golden image or is there something else to do ?

Hello Caner,

Please put all your bq40z80 questions into one thread.

For golden image, please refer to the bqStudio golden image plug in and export an "fs" file. That is the file you need to use on your host system to parse this.

I mean I do not see the golden image plug in bqstudio if I connect to bq40z80. You can see this problem following picture.

I see... For some reason the golden image plug-in does not show up for me either. Let me check.

In the mean time, you can only read out an srec file. That is under the "firmware tab".

Let me check with the tools team on enabling this functionality.

Are you able to program srec files in your system? Normally, the bq40z80 is a pack side gauge, so this is done by pack makers. I checked and the bq40z50 also does not have this functionality.

Hello Ali,

This will be a longer change. I would recommend you use srec format files for the time being.
