Hi All

Customer is not using OTG feature on charger, their question is do they need a CAP on PMID and if so what is the smallest value

Hi Jeff,

At least 8.2uF after derating for dc bias and temperature, is needed on PMID if OTG is not used. I also recommend a 0.1uF close to the IC for minimizing EMI.
