TPS65105: output voltage drops when I connect and LCD to it

Part Number: TPS65105

HI I have used this IC to generate voltages for my 7 inch MIPI LCD but as soon as I connect LCD drive it voltage drops to 10 votl to 4.9V, 18V to 10V, and -6V to -3V. Please analyze my schematic and let me know the issue. Thanks.LCD Schematic.pdf

  • Hello,

Thank you for your post. We will review and get back to you with any feedback by 12/20/19.

  • Hello Manjunath,

I reviewed your schematics and do not see anything particularly wrong that should cause the rails to drop so significantly. If all rails are okay without attaching the LCD panel, it appears that the LCD panel may be over loading the rails and hence could be causing the them to drop. The only thing I found in the schematics is that feedback divider resistors shown in the schematics yield a slightly different output voltage for the negative charge pump using the datasheet equation than what is shown in the schematics itself. With datasheet equation, I get -5V at the output of negative charge pump where as the schematics is showing -6V.

    Kind Regards,
