Hi,

Based on the values of C5, C8 and R5, am I supposed to calculate f_comz, f_comp1, f_comp2?

Is it possible to show me the calculation formula on how to deduce the f_comz, f_comp1, f_comp2? I can't get the formula by equation 17 in the datasheet.

    Please use gm to replace GEA*REA .

    And for this trans-conductance amplifier, the equation on the datasheet is not clear. Please use the following equation:

    1). Control stage: Gc=gm*Zcomp  --> Zcomp is the impedance of the compensation network. as C13 is much smaller than C8, so finally :

    2)  Power stage (Dm is duty, Rsense=0.08, Cototal is the effective output capacitance, Lm is the inductance)

    3) Dividing network : Gdiv=Vref/Vo

    Multiply equation (1), (2),(3) together, you can get the total loop gain.

    So here, your interested formula is :

    f_comz=1/(2ᴨR8C8), 

    f_comp1=1/(2ᴨR8C13),

    f_comp1=1/(2ᴨReaC8),

    the value of Rea is very big (5Mohm).
