UCC5350: Delay time of Miller Clamp

Part Number: UCC5310

※Correct part number is UCC5310

Hi,

I think that Miller Clamp works when following condition satisfied.

・OFF state

・CLAMP pin exceeds 2V(VCLAMP-TH)

How much is the delay time from exceeding VCLAMP-TH to working miller clamp?

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Hi Kuramochhi,

The Miller clamp is activated when the device turns off (input is low) and the gate voltage (CLAMP voltage) referenced to VEE2 goes below VCLAMP-TH (2V). It is released when the device turns on (input is high).

The Miller clamp delay is not a specification that is tested for this device. Typical bench tests show that similar technology has a delay of less than 100ns.

    Regards,

    Audrey
