Dear Sir/Ms.

How does BQ25713 determine whether the battery is fully charged? Is it determined by PIN 4 CHRG_OK that it is fully charged? When it is high, it is fully charged.

    Hey Kami,

    The BQ25713 does not determine if the battery is fully charged. This must be determined by the host or by a gauging IC. From there, the host will disable charger either through the CHRRG_INHIBIT bit or by setting the ChargeCurrent() reigster to 0mA.  

    I will refer you to the pin description for CHRG_OK in section 7 Pin Configuration and Functions of the datasheet. This will provide details on the function of this pin.
