BQ34Z100-G1: CC delta

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hello

1) can you explane what is the meaning of  CC delta and CC gain?

2) At the Data sheet section 8.2.2.1.4 (Step 4:...) written -

"The value of the current sense resistor should be entered into both CC Gain and CC Delta parameters in the

Data Flash Calibration section of the Evaluation Software."

my current sens is 3m ohm. the range of CC delta is much higer than this value. also the range is  different from CC Gain so i don't understand which value to enter to CC Delta.

  • Hello Avi,

    1) CC Gain and Delta are used internally for Qpass and AvgCurrent computations in the gas gauge. CC Delta is for the coulomb counting integration and CC Gain is for the AvgCurrent display. These change automatically using the calibration plug-in of bqStudio.

    2) The units are not exposed, the gas gauge will compute these values. Just use the calibration plug-in.
