Could you help recommend a buck-boost converter which can meet below requirement? Thanks,

1. Output current: 3-4A

2. Load transient: 2A/us (most important spec)

3. Input voltage: 3-5V

4. Output voltage: 3-4V

Hi Moritz,

Thanks! Is TPS63806 the only choice that can meet the 2A/us load transient? Is 2A/us hard to achieve for Buck-Boost?

Hi Nic,

TPS63810 is another option, but with I2C interface.

The biggest part of the transient will be covered by the output cap, as most of the regulators are as fast as the transients and don't need to be . The transient will, however, cause a over/undershoot in VOUT of the converter.

Take a look at these graphs.

May I ask, what your application and your load profile is?
