LM25066A: Two Gate FET Requirements?

Part Number: LM25066A

Hi Praveen,

I hope all is well! I have a question regarding the LM25066A.

After reviewing the design calculator, it looks like my implementation will require two FETs instead of one FET. With the new configuration, will this require any special handling on the gate control from the LM25066A? Is there anything we need to pay attention to while designing in two FETs?

Any app notes/tech notes on this topic would be beneficial.

Thanks,

AH

  • Hi AH,

Please share the design calculator with your system specifications entered in it for our review.

There is no special care about when LM25066 is used to drive  2 FETs. You can use a series resistor for each gate pin of the FET as shown below.

    Regards,

    Praveen
