Hi,

I am trying to used UCC5350M for driving a MOSFET. The LTspice simulation circuit is attached herewith. There is lot of ringing on the Gate terminal of MOSFET and the simulation is getting stuck after sometime. Can you please help!Gtae drive_UCC5350M_MOSFET_Highside.rar

Hello Suryvalli,

I do not have issue simulating a similar circuit.

I would also recommend using PSpice or TINA-TI, as LTSpice is not fully supporting for our models.

There are resources for importing unencrypted PSpice models to TINA-TI here if you do not have PSpice simulator. Please take a look and try it out!

Aurdey,

Sorry for troubling you, but the problem is when driving a high side switch. Also, the IC you used does not have a clamp pin

Can you please help me with driving a high side switch.

Hi Suryavalli,

When using the model in TINA-TI, I see that the model will simulate properly even with the floating node. As LTSpice is not fully supported, I would recommend you to import the model using the Macro Wizard to simulate your circuitry. The TINA software is available for free here.
