TPS54335A: Unable to import TPS54335A Spice model into Tina Ti

Hi,

I am unable to make a new spice model in Tina Ti so that I can simulate a circuit. I believe it has something to do with the files being encrypted for PSpice and so Tina Ti cannot read them and produced the Invalid device: $CDNENCSTART error.

Any help would be great.

It is still on vacation for TI China Team, we will check it.

You can use Webench to do the simulation.

Unfortunately no.

Webench does not provide enough customization of the circuit so I do still need to simulate this part in Tina Ti. It is strange because the Tina Ti model doesn't import either, unless the method for importing a Tina Ti model is different to a spice model?

Hi,

How did you get the TINA model? You can export the TINA model from Webench.

Hi,

I originally got the TINA model from the TPS54335A page under 'Design & Development'. Neither the TINA model or the PSpice model would import into TINA.

I did not know that you could export from Webench as I haven't really used it much but it appears to work well and I will be able change up the circuit.

Hi,

After using the Webench model I found that I cannot get a higher regulation than 4.65V output. Is this a limitation of the spice model that Webench is making? I exported a circuit that should generate a 12V output but no matter what all I get is 4.65V
