If we need to have fault reporting, the EN need to be high and need a PWM input, is that correct?

Could you describe the issue more detial, like what's the application you need and which kind of fault you want to detect.

My question is that if the EN pin is low and there is a open or short on the LED string, Will the fault report this?

if EN is low , the device willn't report the issue
