UCC28051: The specification of UCC28051

Part Number: UCC28051

Hi,

1.      Relation with VO_SNS and COMP

Customer recognize that COMP signal would be “(reference 2.5V – VO_SNS) x Gm x output impedance”.
Could you provide the number for Gm and output impedance ?
I think the number for Gm is described in the datasheet though.

2.  Relation with COMP, MULTIN and Vcs.

Referring the figure, customer recognize that the threshold of ON/OFF for IGBTs is defined Vcs and MULTIN for each COMP voltage.
Is it correct the below recognition of customer ?

3.      Customer see the malfunction at specific condition.
Please let me share about the detail in offline.

Thank you and best regards,

Michiaki

  • Hi Tanii-san,

    1. gM is 90µS typical. The output impedance would be the equivalent impedance of the compensation components connected from the COMP pin to ground.

    2. The CS threshold will change depending on the MULTIN voltage as well as COMP. For example, if COMP = 3V and MULTIN = 2V, the CS threshold will be 0.6V.

    3. Feel free to email me at ben.lough@ti.com and I will take a look at your customer's issue.

    Best Regards,
