TPS2663: UVLO absolute minimum in reverse polarity condition

The datasheet shows the UVLO min is -0.3V.

If the device is placed in a reverse polarity condition (e.g. Vin= -36V), does this pin require additional protection?

    Welcome to TI E2E forum and thanks for considering TPS2663 for your application !

    In application where reverse polarity protection is required, connect minimum of 300k Ohm resistor betwen UVLO and IN_SYS pin. Please refer to device description section 9.3.3 for more details.

    Abhijeet,

    Thank you for your reply.  Based on section 9.3.3 and the absolute max spec for the UVLO pin, I'll assume there's internal clamping diodes which the resistor is current limiting.  I just wanted to be sure, so thank you for confirming this.
