TPS22919: Questions about the internal charge pump

What is the frequency of the internal charge pump of the TPS22919? We have audio-band signals in our design and we want to make sure there won't be interference?

Does the charge pump have a PFM or burst mode such that even if its nominal frequency is high, it could modulate in the audio band?

Thank you for reaching out to the E2E forum.

The frequency for the internal charge pump of the TPS22919 runs several times higher than the audio spectrum range (20-20,000 Hz). This should prevent any interference caused by the TPS22919. In addition, the charge pump in the TPS22919 does not have PFM or burst mode.

Hi Andy,

I'm hoping you're able to be more specific, since we also care about ultrasonic energy, up to 80 kHz. Is the frequency higher than that?

Hi Scott,

The frequency of the charge pump ranges from 60kHz-80kHz. The variance depends on a couple factors such as temperature and load current.
