TPS65186: register default value is not same with datasheet

Part Number: TPS65186

I use TPS65186 for my eink panel for power supply

When I power on the chip and pull up the wake up pin, I read out all register and find out some value is different with datasheet, list below:

addr read default

0x02 0x03 0x23

0x04 0x00 0x04

0x06 0xfe 0xff

0x10 0x66 0x*5

I find out the REVID register is different with the datasheet, is that means I bought a fake chips?

Can you please share the topside marking? It will help determine the authenticity of the chips you have.

Hi,

Apologies for the delay. I am continuing to investigate this matter.

Can you provide the orderable part number for this device? It should be one of the following:

TPS65186RGZR or
TPS65186RGZT

Additionally, can you confirm that the I2C readback is correct with a scope shot or logic analyzer? Please provide an image if possible.

I use dslogic for logic analyze and sampling at 50Mhz, image list below:

Hi,

Thank you for the additional information. It looks like there are no issues with the I2C reads. Did you order these units from an authorized distributor?
