TPS62811-Q1: bode plot for 3 compensation pattern

Hi team,

Could you share the bode plot to see phase margin and gain margin of TPS62811-Q1 for the following condition?

Vin=5.0V

Vout=1.8V

Fsw=2.25MHz

Compensation mode : 1, 2, 3

Load current : 1A

I would try webench, but it seems bode plot simulation is not supported.

Hi Shinji,

WEBENCH model doesn't have bode simulation. But if you are concern about the stability of the device and phase margins than I would suggest checking the load transient. Here is the app note help to understand the load transient for stability check: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva381b/slva381b.pdf

Hi Tanvee,

Thank you. I understand and could refer load transient result in the datasheet,

but I need a bode plot for one of the evidence to keep.

Is that possible to see those plots?

Hi Shinji,

Unfortunately, I don't have bode measurement which compares different compensation at the same operating conditions. Did they require data for all compensation setting?

Yes, that is correct. I need all 3 compensation setting for TPS62811-Q1 1A version at 1A.

Is that possible for you to measure?

Actually I ordered TPS62810EVM and TPS62811 sample to measure by myself,

but I am not confident if I can solder this package by myself...

Is that possible to get 1 EVM with TPS62811 on board for me?
