Hi,

Can its feedback loop compensation be optimized or customize to specific output filter / caps via external pinstrap or digitally via I2C, for example?

Though this part (TPS53647) is 4-phase controller, it doesn't include features for paralleling and synchronization. Is there same or similar part that include these 2 features?

Hi Tim,

The only thing can be changed via PMBus is RAMP/DROOP.

We do have TPS53681 which is 6+2/5+3 total 8phases controller to support >4phases and you can change compensation parameters via PMBus.

Hi Chasel,

TPS53647 - My understand "Droop" is the "load line", what is the RAM? Can its compensation parameters be changed via pinstrap or any mean?

2-phase controller but wanted to be able to parrallel multiple of them or devices, not one device with higher phases though.

RAMP is the triangle signal to eliminate the jitter. You can check the app. note below.

For 2phase controller with snackability, you may consider TPS40425/8.

What's different between TPS40425 and TPS40428?

As I just briefly read datasheets and it stated that it can be stackable up to 4 phases to support 120A - just wonder why it's limited to120A Max or it's typical recommandation for 4 phase design (30A/phase)?

Could you elaborate "stackable" operation/application? Is there any app-note or circuit diagram? Sounds like using 2 of these (2-phase) controllers in parallel as 4-phase design...

What Vout range can be (Min, Max)? and resolution for Vout pinstrap? TPS53647 Vout range is 0.5 - 2.5V, resolution pinstarp is 5mV...
