Hello Ito-san,

Only typical value is guaranteed by datasheet.

Efficiency figure for 400kHz, 5V, 2.5A is approximately 94%.

Based on data, I can assume efficiency to degrade by approximately 2% at full output power at 105degC-125degC ambient

Ploss = Po(1/eta - 1) = 5*2.5(1/.92 - 1) = 1.086

Typical rthetajA = 25degC/W for small 4 layer pcb

IC at 105degC

IC temp at 105degC ambient Temp IC = 105 + 1.086*25 = 132degC

sorry i didnt tell you background of question. What i want to know is worst case dropout voltage when VIn is low. I think worst case Rdson of HS/LS switch is needed to calculate it.
