TLV755P: Reverse current

Hi TI experts,

This waveform is a system power down situation. reverse current occurs for very short time.

1. Does this reverse current damage TLV755P(10~20mA, about 10us)?

2. i have seen that add a Schottky diode in the datasheet. Is there any other way to improve it?

    Hi Downey,

    For question #1. No. This reverse current and magnitude will not damage the device. 

    For question #2. If reverse current is a concern, another way yo solve this is to put a diode in series with VIN.
