BQ40Z60: bq40z60

Part Number: BQ40Z60
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCRB, BQSTUDIO

We are using the bq40z60 Programmable Battery Management Unit in combination with Li-Ion cells that have a temperature range of -40C to +85C. The fuel gauge function of the bq40z60 seems to be working fine, except when the temperature drops below -20C. We have seen reported RSOC values of zero (always).

Has someone else experience with the impedance track algorithm at low temperatures?

One thing we are trying is to update the chemical ID information according to SLUUBD0.
