LP5036: Pattern generator

Hello,

Does LP5036 or other drivers from the LP50xx family have pattern generator engine ?

I noticed following phrase at the beginning of the LP5036 datasheet: "Efficient and high-performance LED response effects, such as blinking, breathing, and chasing, are critical to improving end-user experience in many human machine interface (HMI) applications." So I expected that LP5036 is equipped with pattern generator, but I am not able to find registers related to pattern generation...

Hi Maciej,

LP50xx family do not have pattern engine. Sorry for causing the confusion that we want to describe LP50xx's feature is suitable for performing these animations in this sentence. You still need to use MCU to achieve them.
