Hi Team,

Customer wants to test the PSRR for TPS74801.   From the introduction files in our website, we introduced J2120A with an loop Analyzer.

Customer wants to know if J2120A can work with Venable 3120 or not and what tool does TI use。

Could you give a comment?

    Hi Oliver,

    Yes Picotest's J2102A can be used to buffer the input signal for PSRR measurements and we occasionally use this piece of equipment. One challenge we've noticed with using this piece of equipment is that the DC drop due to the load current will vary with the load current. So if they are only making a few manual measurements then that is ok and can be accounted for when they do the measurements. Often times we use a power amp which was designed in house and that is used to buffer the input signal. Below is a quick block diagram of the power amp for reference. .
