Hi,

This is Bhuvaneshwari, Component Engineer from Zettaone Technologies, India. We are working on Component Engineering - obsolescence management for one of our client SKF Germany. In one of the BOMs, we are using the below mentioned component. We would like to know the Life cycle status of the part TPS7A1901DRB and OPA170AIDBVR.

Let us know if the part is active and if so, for how long this part will be supported, if any EOL or PCN issued for the part let us know or if the part is obsolete, let us know the alternate for the same.

    HI Bhuvaneshwari,

    At TI, we typically do not obsolete a device unless there have been zero sales for several years. The TPS7A19 is a device used in many applications. So this will be supported for quite some time. For example, our LM317 and UA78 have been shipping since 1976!

    I can not comment on the OPA device as it is not in the LDO product line, but since this device was developed in 2011, I imagine it too will be with us for quite some time.
