Hi Team,

TPS61170-Q1 was evaluated on a automotive customer. Do we have EMI test report for TPS61170-Q1?

Could you give us some suggestion on the layout and schematic design? Thanks.

For the EMI test, 0.8~2.0MHz is a important part for customer. Could you recommend a suitable device for customer?

Here is the design requirement:

Vin =6V, Vout =12V, Iout = 2A, switch frequency> 2MHz.

Dear Sir,

TPS61170 is too small for this application. suggest you use TPS61088-Q1.

0.8-2MHz EMI is not so difficult to pass. Actually with TPS61088-Q1, then set the fsw=350k-400kHz to get good EMI result.

TI application note slva790 can help you understand EMI well.

TPS61088-Q1 is expensive for customer. Do you have another recommendation? No- syn and external MOSFET are also OK for customer. Thanks.
