TPS61099: Iq when Vin < Vout +0.5

Part Number: TPS61099

Hi,

I am considering this for a new design. What happens when Vin is < Vout +0.5V? When there is 10s of uAs loutput load, does the Iq change?

We are operating from a  Li-SoCL2 battery and need the output to be regulated to 3.3. When the battery dips lower due to loading or temp (3.6V max and dips down to 3.1V) . Our max input voltage will be around 3.6V. so we will always be in that window Vin <Vout +0.5 window.

What soutions do you commonly see when operating off battery and needing to regulate to a minimum voltage when it droops due to a radio transmission? I feel like this is a very common problem. Again Iq is very important.

Thanks,
Adam
