TPS61322: Handling of NC pins

Part Number: TPS61322

Dear all,

I would like to ask about NC pin of TPS61322DBV.

When I check the data sheet and EVM circuit, they are connected to GND or Vout as follows.

From the following post, I understand that it's okay to leave the NC pin floating or connect it to something other than GND or Vout.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/886045?tisearch=e2e-quicksearch&keymatch=TPS61322%20NC

I would like to know the intention to connect to GND or Vout.

For example, is there a reason why connecting to GND improves the heat dissipation characteristics or the electrical characteristics?

Best Regards,
