TPS54531: Soft Start timing grater than 10ms

Hi Team

As per datasheet soft start is supposed to be 1~10ms for best use. To acheive 125ms, i have to use more than 27nF, which is more than max Css mentioned in datasheet.

Can resistor in series to cap is acceptable for the device, to attain required soft start. approx 4Mohm in series to 27nF.?

Hi Anand,

I would suggest you to do some test with the larger capacitance to see if any strange startup behavior, if no, you could use that cap. If have some problem, try with a 1kohm in series with the ss cap to see if any improvement.
