my customer test UCC27714 and IR2186 in the same half bridge circuit, and only our device face high side pulse missing problem.
The schematic is as below:
VDD=12V. Rbias=5.1ohm, Cvdd=10uF, Rboot=5.1ohm, Cboot=1uF, Rhi=Rli=50ohm, Chi=Cli=220pF. Rho=Rlo=12ohm
The waveform of HI and HO are as below: yellow-HI, green-HO. We are sure that VDD=12V is stable during the measurement.
Some times HI=high, but HO is low.
After zoom in: we can see that there are some overshoot and undershoot of HO. But this doesn't cause problem with IR2186.
And we have add diode between HO to HS, HO to HB, which doesn't help much.
By increasing the gate drive resistor from 12ohm to 110ohm, the pulse missing from HI to HO can be solved, but the gate drive resistor is too high which is not acceptable in the system.
