Hello,

Is there any way to check on the hardware if the bq28z610 is in shutdown? Everything was working and I left the device overnight, now it's not on anymore even if I I supply 12V to the PACK pin. I can't access bq28z610 through bqstudio, and all the FETs are off. This happened not just once but with a few chips, so it's a serious problem. Have any seen this problem before?

My best advice would be to remove power from the IC and then attempt to read 0x0D on both address 0xAA and 0x16. This command is a valid command in both FW mode and ROM mode. In FW mode you will get a response on 0xAA. ROM will respond on 0x16 as well.

If you cannot communicate on both.... something is corrupted in the hardware and it cannot be recovered.

So I tried what you said on the ICs that are unconnectable, and I can get a response from either 0xAA or 0x16. The problem is the connection is not consistent (please see the attached screenshot), most of the time I got an NACK after sending the 0xAA address. Do you know what the problem is?
