TPS7A83A: EN voltage vs Vin

Part Number: TPS7A83A

Customer is using TPS7A8300A with Vin=1.5V, VBIAS=3.3V. EN is tied to PG from another DC-DC, with a 3V logic level. Is this allowed (EN>Vin)? Absolute Max spec (6.5V) would seem to say yes, Recommended operating spec would seem to say no.

Hi Dan,

This issue has been noted in our datasheet correction log.
It has been discussed in the following forum thread.

The pertinent statement from that link is:
"EN is commonly tied to Vin in order to provide the logic high; however, this is not required. Ven can exceed Vin if desired in the application."
