BQ76200: bq76200

Hi Ian,

MOSFETs vary, so how many FETs it can drive will also vary.  The application note https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slva729 shows results with the BQ76200 driving up to 12 CSD19536KCS FETs, the figures show that switching will slow. What is acceptable will depend on the designer and application.  For FETs with smaller Ciss 10 FETs may be fine.  For FETs with larger Ciss the customer may enhance the turn off loop or choose a different driver.  See the other application notes in the BQ76200 product folder for information on the part and circuit ideas.  Some good things to remember with the BQ76200:

• It is a charge pump device, current is limited.
• The part has UVLO, use sufficient CP capacitance, larger capacitors do increase the startup time
• Internal resistances are fixed
• Don't use a large capacitor on PACK pin
