Part Number: TPS3890

Hi Team,

My customer is planning to used TPS3890 as solution and wanted to ask about this part's tPD(f) , per d/s , CT pin can used for adjust the delay time by using different cap value, but it's only shown that tPD(r) is adjustable , not tPD(f) .

the questions are as below

1. Is tPD(f) also adjustable?

2. if yes , does tPD(f)=tPD(r) .

3. If not , is tPD(f) fixed?

4. If this part's tPD(f) fixed , do we have the part similar to TPS3890 which we can adjust tPD(f)?

  • Hi Andy,

    Let me answer these below:

    1. tPD(f) is not adjustable. This value is specified in the datasheet.

    2. No

    3. tPD(f) is fixed as shown in the electrical characteristics table.

    4. There is currently no device on the web that can achieve this, but please email me at abhinav@ti.com to find out more for your customer.

    Thanks,
    Abhinav.
